Dear readers,
My Aoyama Gakuin University colleague Dr. Mathew Varghese has worked with students to produce this bullentin. We hope that the opinions offered here by Japanese university students will interest readers and in turn motivate them to think about some of the themes offered. Our hope is to add additional essays, hopefully produced under the same guidelines as Matthew has used for the essays reprinted here from Bilingual Value Bulletin Vol. 3 January 2010 Issue 1.
Sincerely,
Walter Kasmer
Lecturer for Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo University of Science, and Hosei University
